Our approach
North Playfair is designed to need as little data as possible. We don't run an account system, we don't take payments, and we don't require you to share personal information to play our games.
What we don't collect
- No registration, login, name, email, address or phone number is required to use the site or play.
- No payment data — we don't take payments, ever.
- No financial or wallet information.
What we store on your device
The site uses your browser's local storage to remember:
- your age confirmation (so you don't see the age gate again)
- your storage notice choice
- your sound or display preferences (when applicable)
- your virtual coin balances per game
- the timestamp of your last daily virtual coin refresh
- small per-game progress where useful
This data lives on your device. It is not sent to our servers and we cannot read it. You can clear it at any time by clearing browser site data for our domain.
If you contact us
If you choose to email us or use the contact form, we receive whatever you put in your message — typically your email address and the question or report. We use that information only to respond to you. We don't share it with third parties for marketing.
Server-side data
Our hosting providers may collect basic technical logs (such as IP addresses and browser type) for the purpose of operating and securing the site. These logs are not used to build profiles of players and are not combined with the local game data on your device.
Analytics and advertising
We don't run third-party advertising on the site. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, we will update this policy and the storage notice before doing so.
Children
The site is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect any data from people under the age of majority.
Your choices
- You can decline non-essential storage from the storage notice.
- You can clear local data at any time using your browser's site-data tools.
- You can stop using the site at any time — there is nothing to cancel.
